Alex Cowan General Manager Alex has responsibility for general operations and planning at Leonid. Alex has experience in managerial consulting as well as enterprise software and network communications. With over twelve years experience in communications and IT, Alex has a broad perspective on industry technologies and operators. Alex began his career founding LinkLite Consulting, which now operates as GovPlace. Most recently, Alex served as Director of Professional Services at BroadSoft, a leading provider of VoIP application platforms. Prior to BroadSoft, Alex served as Director of Sales Engineering at SOMA Networks (WiMAX equipment provider). Alex has experience in Chinese, Japanese (1), and Spanish-speaking operating environments. Alex studied Industrial Engineering and Economics at Stanford University. |

Neil Brewster Director Systems Development Practice Neil runs the Systems Development practice at Leonid, including development of Leonid's software offerings. Most recently Neil ran the QA program at MessageLabs, one of the world's largest hosted applications providers with over 7 million subscribers. Neil started his career in the development of high performance, secure communications systems based on Linux and IP. Neil later managed the systems integration and systems test programs at SOMA Networks, a vendor of wireless and call processing systems. Neil studied Computer Engineering at the undergraduate and graduate levels at the University of Toronto. |

Daniel Goepp Emeritus Daniel Goepp is a Technology, Implementation and Operations Manager. Daniel brings experience in a range of industries and technologies to the Leonid team. Daniel has over sixteen years experience in systems, development, networking, telecommunications and operations. Originally involved in IT systems and networking in the manufacturing and food distribution industries, he moved to integrating and building systems in the telecommunications industry. Daniel has worked for national carriers as well as startups including ISPs and ITSPs. Most recently Daniel was CTO of Broadvoice, a national VoIP provider, directing and building the technologies to support the growing demand for IP based telecommunications systems and features. Daniel has an enthusiastic vision for the future of communications and looks forward to building more effective and efficient ways for us all to interact and connect. |
